Central Luzon spared by 'Santi'

'Santi' leaves 4 dead in Southern Tagalog

Although residents in Quezon province who evacuated before the onset of typhoon Santi already returned to their homes on Saturday morning, most households in the province are still experiencing lack of power supply, as of posting. 

Power was cut off Friday night in all municipalities of the third and fourth district, including some areas in the second district as the typhoon made landfall in the northern part of the province. The number of evacuees rose to 1, 118 families or 4, 752 individuals.
Passengers on their way home to Bicol for the All Souls' Day were temporarily stranded in Atimonan because of floods. read more...
